"Feels like an extension to my living room"

My favourite pub ever, not just because it's local, but it's everything I've thought a pub should be. Very friendly and welcoming staff, a good selection of ales, beers, ciders and whiskeys / whiskies (Scotch and Irish), music on vinyl, nice large beer garden, skittle alley and is child and dog friendly. It has an uncanny knack of just feeling like an extension to your living room.

The clientele are eclectic and change throughout the day and there's usually something going on most nights, be it a band night, open mic, quiz or just someone sat with a guitar playing a few tunes because they feel like it.

They don't serve food, but that's not a problem, just bring your own from one of the myriad of takeaways on Fishponds Road and soak up the atmosphere!

Everyone I've taken there just loves it as it's a "Proper Pub" with a great atmosphere and is very community oriented. I can’t say enough about this place!.
