John Ford is probably the best remedial farrier in the South Gloucestershire area. In 2004 my horse had laminitus in both front feet and the pedal bone had started to rotate. Over 7 months John worked with my vet and as a consequence I have enjoyed riding for the last 7 years and many more. John still shoes my horse and cuts back her toes to balance her and the result has been many enjoyable rides and a sound and happy horse. Not to be forgotten, his prices are reasonable too!.
