A review of Princes Pantry by Cuddly Bear written on Friday 6th of December 2013
I've been a loyal customer for the last 12 months with my weekly office run and today when I tried to put in my order I was greeted by a tall man with a beard (possibly the owner) "what do you want"? I explained that I wanted to order some food, he told me "to come back later as they were dealing with telephone orders only at the moment". He told me that there was a forty five minute wait as they were dealing with telephone orders only today. I explained that the level of service had gone downhill since the business had recently changed hands and that I had tried to put in a telephone order a couple of weeks previously and was told that they weren't taking telephone orders and to come in. I at this point explained that I would no longer purchase anything from Princes Pantry and I was told by a tall man with a beard that "Good don't bother coming back"!!!. Since my average weekly order is £25 this has just cost their business £1300.00 a year. Not to mention that I will be informing others not to go. I went to Radcliffe's instead and it was so much better!!!!! And the service was great. It's a great shame that Princes Pantry has gone downhill, however I will still keep supporting local business as I believe in them but just not this one!! Princes pantry's new owner - takes stock - look after all of your customers and don't be selective!.
