"Rubbish delivery service"

I ordered a item on E/bay on the 6 of March & it was shipped to me on the 17 of march 2014. Having waiting over a week for delivery I contacted seller & I was told it was waiting in you your offices for me to collect. If this was delivered while I was not at home why was no card left for me to say that the item could not be delivered? I was completely unaware that of this situation. I have tried contacting your offices by phone but I continuously get the answer saying that your services was unavailable I think you service unreliable to say the least.
