A review of AES Retrofit by James Smith written on Saturday 27th of September 2014
My local garage put me on to these guys they're mainly trade which is probably why I'd not heard of them before
Had a problem with my golf air conditioning had been quoted over £500 for replacing the compressor
Gave them a call very knowledgable common fault apparently the pulley becomes detached and slips spoke to Paul who didn't make any promises but told me sometimes it could be repaired
Dropped the car off at 9am by 11 had had a phone call saying yes the pulley was loose but they had managed to tighten it and I should give a go well that was 6 weeks ago and it's still working cost of repair £48 absolutely brilliant
Got a quote while I was there to replace the faulty part £420 inc vat and if the repair fails and I go back to AES Retrofit they will deduct the £48 I paid for the repair can't fault them excellent very professional
Cheers guys
James .
