A review of Bakers Corner by Unhappy Customer written on Wednesday 31st of August 2016
Never been into this bakery before & will never go again. As i wasn't a 'local' i wasn't greeted the way the locals were. I asked if bagettes/sandwiches could be made up as there were numerous fillings in the counter & i was told to pick from what already was there. I then proceeded to ask the fillings of the pasty's and the lady looked at me like i was supposed to know! She started reeling off the filling by lifting & touching everyone with her bare hands! I reluctantly asked for one & she said she didn't have one hot where she pointed to the hot cabinet so i then asked what she did have hot where once again she touched everyone to tell me. I came away with a purchase that i didn't really want to eat as it had been handled without gloves but someones bare hands & it was like they didn't want to sell to me as i wasn't a local, no manners ysed either! It doesn't take alot to be friendly and say please & thank you, i managed it..
